Story
The Running for Premature Babies Foundation was founded in memory of baby triplets Henry, Jasper and Evan Smith who were unable to overcome their prematurity. We are proud that their legacy is saving the lives of thousands of premature and critically ill babies and offering them a better chance of survival.
For our 3rd year, we are entering a team in the Brisbane Marthon Festival 2020 to raise much needed funds to save the tiny lives at the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital. Our goal is for a team of 50 runners to raise $50,000 for much needed life-saving equipment and research.
This June, we're all going to be sweating it out and doing our best to complete a gruelling course, but in doing so you'll be making your run count!
ALL donations you give go directly to the RBWH Foundation, so click on DONATE NOW!
Thank you for your support and helping to make a difference to prematurely born and critically ill babies.
Running for Premature Babies Foundation Ltd
Running for Premature Babies is a charity that gives sick and premature babies a better chance of survival. We fundraise and provide urgently needed neonatal equipment to hospitals in need Australia wide.
The charity was founded by Sophie Smith OAM, after losing all three of her prematurely born triplets in 2006, and has grown to directly benefit thousands of sick and premature babies. Our vehicle for fundraising is running. We inspire people to take on running challenges, either in mass participation running events around Australia or by joining our virtual Premmie Marathon Challenge each November.
